Drawing from its past assemblies (2017–18), the METABOLIC
RIFTS Reader contains critical contributions that address
the prospect of global strife surrounding the discursive foreclosures
of the Anthropocene. The book explores how different media,
including scholarship, dance, dramaturgy, and curatorial knowledge,
connect seemingly disconnected geohistories and vulnerabilities
that engage with the Earth’s past, present and future tenses.
